I give my total support to Get Healthy San Angelo, and I was happy to be invited by our Mayor to be part of this special group that has the goal of helping all the people of San Angelo to be healthy which flows from the motto of our Committee: Get Healthy San Angelo!
My goal as a person and religious leader has always been to foster and put in practice the important Latin philosophical principle—Mens sane, in corpore sano—A healthy mind in a healthy body. God has blessed us with a wonderful human body, and we are to do our part to stay healthy as we take a holistic approach to life. Promoting good health involves the entire person—body, mind, emotions, heart and soul. I pray for God’s blessings upon this beautiful effort.
